quiet consumption

chilling sight
fallen out of step
forgotten seasons
mistaken impressions
of a doomed reality
that subsides....
inside.

when my forest
is used up
forgotten
and
destroyed

who will notice?
who will re-plant?

modern necessities
not needed
and
no longer
wanted.

classic formations
yearned for

i desire not
a continuation
not
a stagnation
not
a resurrection
but
a transformation

into something
new
and
never seen

modern gifts
of science
and thought
used
to create
a new
natural order.

I interrpreted this as the declining world in which we live.
The forests and woods are not what they used to be, global warming are mixing our seasons up, The new generations will not know the beauty of the world as we once knew it. I enjoyed the read.
